Gender-based analysis plus

Introduction

In 2018, Parliament passed the Canadian Gender Budgeting Act. The departmental plans and departmental results reports are being used to fulfil the President of the Treasury Board’s obligations to make public analysis on the impacts of expenditure programs on gender and diversity.

General information

Institutional GBA Plus Capacity

Due to the ramped down position of the Agency, the Agency does not plan to take actions in 2023-24 to advance the implementation of GBA Plus governance within the Agency, including any significant changes to governance structures or resourcing levels directly associated with supporting GBA Plus objectives. In addition, the Agency will not undertake initiatives in advancing GBA Plus departmental capacity.

Highlights of GBA Plus Results Reporting Capacity by Program
Oversee and regulate the planning and construction of the Canadian portion of the Alaska Highway Natural Gas Pipeline Project.

Due to the ramped down position of the Agency, the Agency does not plan to collect data in 2023-24 with regard to monitoring and/or reporting program impacts by gender and diversity (GBA Plus).
